How to set up a ShareFile request link in your email signature. 

 

Copy the ShareFile Request Link 

  1. Navigate and log into https://lrbank.sharefile.com with your @lakeridge.bank email address.  

  1. Under Folders, select File Box and click the at the top right. Select Request Files ….   

 

OR ….  Click Request files in the Shortcuts section of the main page. 

 

 

 

 

  1. Select Get a link. 

 

  1. Click Copy button to copy the request link.  (Save/paste the Sharefile request link you just copied somewhere like WORD so you can copy it later when updating your email signature following the steps below.)  

 

 

  1. In that same window, click on “Edit options” above the Copy button you just clicked. 

  1. Click the drop down for Who can access this link, and select:  Anyone (public, must enter a name and email).  

This will force clients to enter a name and email address when uploading documents to ShareFile.  

  1. Under Access expires select never.  This will prevent the link from expiring in your signature.  Click X on the window to close.  

 

Adding the link to your email signature: 

  1. Open any Internet Browser.  Access the LRB SharePoint Site.  Navigate to Quick Links section on the top menu bar and click on the Code Two Form.  Use the Code Two form to update Your ShareFile link in your email signature. 

 

 

  1.  Paste your ShareFile Link, from step 4, into the ShareFile Link Field on the Code Two Form.  IMPORTANT NOTE: Only the last part of the URL needs to be inputted into the form. Remove the Bold text from the URL

  1. Click Save & Update on the Form
